Habertürk'te yayınlanan yazım: İsrail sandığında Lapid sürprizi


Tüm anketlerde başta gözüken Likud-Beitanu için bu seçimlerin kolay bir zafer olacağı tahmin ediliyordu. Yeni politikacı Naftali Bennett ilgi toplarken, Binyamin Netanyahu’nun başbakan olacağı ve daha da sağ bir hükümet kuracağı tahmin ediliyordu. Hatta seçmenin daha da sağa kaydığı, sol partilerin güçsüz, merkez partilerin de bölünmüş olduğu, klasik sağ-sol yerine sağ ve aşırı sağ çekişmesi yaşandığı konuşuluyordu. Ancak çarşamba sabahki sonuçlar tüm tahminleri çürüttü. 42 sandalyeyle girdiği yarışta 31 sandalyeye düşen Likud-Beitanu’nun ardından eski TV sunucusu Yair Lapid’in partisi 19, İşçi partisi 15, dindar sağcı Naftali Bennett’in Yahudi Evi Partisi ve Şas ise 11’er sandalye kazandı. Bu sonuçlarla 120 sandalyelik mecliste sağ partilerin hükümdarlığı azaldı, sağ ve sol-merkez partilerin ağırlığı ise yarı yarıya oldu. İsrail Devlet Başkanı Şimon Peres’in hükümet kurma görevini Netanyahu’ya vermesi beklenirken, kuracağı hükümetin geniş tabanlı bir koalisyon olacağı tahmin edilebilir. İlk üç sırada bulunan partilerin iki devletli çözümü desteklediği düşünüldüğünde İsrail ile Filistinliler arasında barış görüşmelerinin başlaması için ufak bir umut ışığı olduğu düşünülebilir. Oyunu arttıran partilerin ülkenin sosyo-ekonomik sorunlarına önem veren partiler olması, 2011 yazında çadır hareketiyle başlayan sosyal adalet protestolarının bu seçimin sonucunu doğrudan etkilediği görülüyor.

Babası laik ve liberal eski bakan Tommy Lapid’den aldığı mirası devam ettiren popüler televizyoncu Yair Lapid, kurulacak koalisyonun anahtarını da elinde tutuyor. Değişim isteyen İsraillilere sosyo-ekonomik reformlar vaat eden Lapid ultra-ortodoksları askerlikten muaf tutan yasayı eşitliğe aykırı görüyor. Orta sınıfı temsil eden Lapid, Filistinlilerle barış görüşmelerine dönülmesini gerektiğini düşünürken Kudüs’ün bölünmesine karşı. Lise diploması olmayan Lapid eğitim bakanı olmayı istiyor.

Panorama Asks: The NATO Summit in Ankara

On 7-8 July 2026, NATO’s heads of state and government met in Ankara for the Alliance’s 36th summit. It was the second time Türkiye has hosted this gathering since Istanbul in 2004. The summit came at a difficult moment for the Alliance: a fifth year of war in Ukraine, growing pressure on European allies to turn defense-spending pledges into real industrial capacity, and continuing uncertainty over Washington’s long-term commitment to European security.
